The redesigned Heron golf course was honored by the American Society of Golf Course Architects Design Excellence Recognition Program.

Dine year-round at the Oaks’ three restaurants, offering casual and fine dining experiences. The Glen Room is for formal dining with a seasonally driven menu of fresh seafood and signature dishes. Pine View School for the Gifted was ranked #1 high school in Florida by US News & World Report and 13th in the nation in 2017. The elite school is situated a short drive south in Osprey. Pine View educates students in grades 2-12.

Store recreational watercraft or yachts at any of the area’s nearby marinas and storage facilities. At Blackburn Point Park, boating enthusiasts can launch kayaks, paddleboards, or motorized craft. From here, explore the Jim Neville Marine Preserve and Midnight Pass, both only accessible by water.
