How I Edit: Writing An Article Introduction

Ever wonder what choices copywriters make to improve their writing? This "think-aloud" video series provides insights into the editing process. 

Today it’s about writing stronger introductions. Writing a solid lead sentence is one of the most challenging parts of good writing. The first sentence has to hook the reader’s attention, elaborate on the article header, and set up what is to come. It often has to meet additional requirements based on the client or the article style.

This example changes a boring intro. I’m trying to apply storytelling to a profile-style professional article to capture attention and set up what is to come.
